Back in 1922 the brothers Umberto and Luigi Mora founded the Chemical Products Company “Hamburg” in Milan with the production and sale of inks and fine arts colors. At the tum of the two wars, the company developed rapidly, arriving in 1935 with a catalogue of over 50 pages. The activity continues, focusing on constant attention to product quality, until 2007 when “Hamburg” became part of the Abralux Colori Beghè group. Precisely drawing on these traditional formulations and thanks to the collaboration of esteemed calligraphers, we are pleased to present you the “Hamburg” calligraphic inks. The care in the choice of raw materials and the attention during all the production phases, have allowed to obtain a high quality ink able to satisfy the most demanding calligrapher.

I\'ve never seen something like this one before.
A watery appearance to start with but then this ink gets into its deepest colour once on the page. Really really love the delicacy of it. Its unique, or if not, definitely very rare.

My favourite from the batch. Worth mentioning that the ink has a very watery appearance but don't let yourself be fooled by this :D. Soon after you apply it, it gets darker and a deep pink (not bright) is forming. A pink with a mauve touch I would say, very special ink this is.
