Since then, I've been producing various artworks and calligraphic pieces, among which was a yearly calendar that was created during my evening classes that I gave out to friends and family at Christmas time as stocking fillers. In Christmas 2010, however, our class decided to do a new project which meant I would need another handmade gift that everyone would love and enjoy as much as the calendar. I had an idea - as I had already drawn a cat created from words and phrases - why not use this design for packs of notelets?
So, many cards, envelopes and cellophane bags later, I decided to try some new designs that would be great for many other people to enjoy as well.
My husband, Nick, and I created Calligraphy Arts and now produce and sell greeting cards and various artworks which have designs encompassing Cats, Dogs, Doves, Paws and Hearts, Eternal Celtic Love Knots, while the more rock inspired amongst you may be interested in Guitars, Choppers, Motorcycles, Ace of Spades and Skull & Crossbones. We even have campervans and cars!
