Postage, Delivery and Processing
Your order will be dispatched using any of the following services - Royal Mail postal service, UPS, Fedex, DPD, MyHermes courier service, Airmail Post or Parcel Force. All cards will be sent in sturdy, board-backed packaging to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. Pens and artwork may be despatched in either padded bubble envelopes or sturdy cardboard boxes.
To avoid disappointment or surprise, all customers outside the United Kingdom are advised to check for their own country's import duty, applicable taxes and other disbursements that may be applied prior to confirming their order. If you are unsure, please ask us for advice.
We'll do our utmost to process your order on the day we receive your order, though this may be extended to three days. The majority of mainland UK Calligraphy Arts orders are processed same day and delivered next day, but we will contact you if there is any delay.
Any bespoke commissions and artworks will obviously take longer to produce. All timescales and prices for items such as these will be agreed between the customer and Calligraphy Arts before any work commences.
At present we do not include handling and packing fees. In the future Shipping fees may include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees will be fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. You will be notified on your initial shopping cart order if handling fees have been added to your order. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Special care is taken to protect fragile objects, such as our glass pens, and all items are fully insured.
Please send evidence of any items that have been damaged during transit and we will replace these as soon as we can.
Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
